RECENT WORK
A few of my favourite photos from the last 1 to 2 months
In 2024, I set myself a challenge to photograph a small, defined corner of the world for two weeks, aiming to capture not only grand vistas but also intimate, abstract details. My focus was Uig Sands on the Isle of Lewis, where I encountered wild weather and, after just one day, a serious knee injury that required immediate medical attention and several months of recovery. Despite this setback, I returned in October with renewed determination to complete the project, spending days capturing the ever-changing beauty of the beach and its surroundings. The resulting body of work is divided into four sections: Vistas, Rocks, Abstract and Intimate, and Drone Images, each representing a unique aspect of the landscape. This project not only reflects my journey through the landscape but also parallels my personal journey of recovery and resilience.
