About
I am an award winning wildlife photographer, based in Blackpool, in the North West of England.
I love to travel and to photograph a variety of wildlife and landscapes in the process. My first pleasure is to observe the wildlife in any particular area, then if possible and without stressing the subject to obtain a photograph. The ultimate aim is to take a photograph which other people will enjoy looking at, and hopefully be encouraged to go and see for themselves, learn about or in some cases help to ensure their survival.
My travels over recent years have taken me to South Africa, Botswana, India, North America, Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Antarctica and many European countries, but I often find that my most productive and enjoyable experiences are when I am able to observe and photograph the wildlife on my local patch.
I hope this website encourages others to open their eyes and see the beauty in the wildlife which I have been privileged to observe and photograph.
